Software Sales Executive (Montreal, Canada)

An exciting opportunity with an innovative business technology company

GENIUS PROJECT is seeking a smart and ambitious Software Sales Executive, with a proven track record managing sales teams and selling enterprise software for its Montreal and NYC offices. 

The Software Sales Executive will be in charge of developing, coaching and leading a team of sales professionals to nurture relationships with new and existing leads and sell the total Genius Project solution, which includes product and professional services.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Manage a team to identify, qualify, and coordinate opportunities for Genius Project’s Software Solutions
  • Develop a healthy pipeline with new leads and existing prospects
  • Meet or exceed regional sales revenue targets
  • Work with Genius Project’s Solution Specialist to prepare product demonstrations adapted to customer’s business requirements.
  • Increase Genius Project’s market share through competitive replacements and conversions.
  • Make efficient use of sales tools, support and marketing resources.
  • Provide sales forecasting and accurate reporting on all sales activities.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a sales team selling to US and/or Canadian Customers
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling infrastructure or enterprise software solutions

 

Skills

  • Energetic, articulate and enjoys leading a team of sales professionals
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) in English and organizational skills
  • Talent for leading sales teams, customer interaction and strong relationship building at both the project and executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas for their team
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented, hunter mentality
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory (10% of the time or more) to customer sites
